Charity Support
Camilla uses her spare time to kindly support some charities found throughout the world, find out which charities she supports below:
Kids With A Cause
Camilla is an international spokesperson for Kids With A Cause, which assists children suffering from poverty, hunger, lack of education, neglect, or abuse.
Artists for Peace and Justice
Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ), established in early 2009, is a fundraising effort founded by Paul Haggis and friends that encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty and enfranchisement in communities around the world. Over the past year, APJ has directed its efforts to raising enough funds to fully sponsor three schools in Haiti in support of the initiatives of Father Rick Frechette and his team. These schools aren’t just a place to learn but provide for a hot meal, clean water and a chance at the future to children who desperately need it. Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, APJ has focused its efforts on raising much needed funds for emergency relief efforts in the ravaged country that is only a few hours from our shores. H.E.L.P
In 2009 Camilla also lent her support to H.E.L.P – a non-profit agency established in Malawi aiming to make a difference by giving kids hope, education, love, protection and the opportunity to make their dreams become a reality. The charity teamed up with the Lori Leavitt Collection to re-launch the jewelry firm’s What Love Means campaign, which donates all profits from its Panthera Collection to the children of the impoverished nation.
To help promote the campaign, Belle wore pieces of the African-inspired jewelry in new advertisements featured at the time. Prices for the collection range from $98 to $2,050 and are available online at HelpMalawiChildren.org.
